The handle is made from sustainable bamboo and this brush has soft, BPA free nylon bristles. Shake your toothbrush dry before storing, to keep water from pooling on the handle. The American Dental Association recommends changing your toothbrush every 3 months. This means that over a billion plastic toothbrushes go to the landfill every year (or are burned!)
